Christopher Talbot

Christopher Talbot, a native of Tecumseh, Michigan, now resides in Gallatin, Tennessee with his wife Rebekah and their three sons: William, James Elliot, and Samuel. He is the Assistant Professor of Ministry and Apologetics as well as Campus Pastor at Welch College. He also serves as Program Coordinator for Youth and Family Ministry. He earned his Ph.D. from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary in the area of Apologetics and Culture. He also holds degrees from Welch College (B.S.) and Grace College (M.A.). He is an Associate Pastor at Sylvan Park Free Will Baptist Church in Nashville, Tennessee. 

He is currently the Assistant Managing Editor for the D6 Family Ministry Journal and the Assistant Editor for the Journal of Youth MinistryHe has published articles in the Journal of Youth and TheologyTheofilos, and the Westminster Theological Journal, among others, as well as contributed chapters to edited volumes. He has written articles for popular publications, including First Things and The Gospel Coalition. He is the author of Remodeling Youth Ministry: A Biblical Blueprint for Ministering to Students (Welch College Press) and co-editor of Christians in Culture: Cultivating a Christian Worldview for All of Life (Welch College Press).
